PR - WHY NECESSARY?
PR - WHAT EXACTLY IS PR?
If a company claims (for example, by means of advertisements), "We
are the best!", then
this is advertising. On the other hand, if others say, "They are the
best", this is then a result
of good PR.
The abbreviation PR stands for "public relations". Just as
the term explicitly states, it concerns itself with relations to the public.
In German-speaking countries, this term is known as Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
(literally translatable as publicity or public work). PR works best when
it provides information in an open and honest manner. Opinions can be
formed or even changed in this way.
PR - WHY IS IT NECESSARY?
There are various avenues for providing information about a company and
its products. One such option is press work, which takes a strategic approach
over a period of at least three years. The goals of press work are, amongst
other things, the communication of information without directly advertising
as well as the coherent presentation of complex correlations. A large proportion
of the population reads newspapers and magazines, watches TV, listens to
the radio or surfs the Internet. If products or services are mentioned repeatedly
in these forms of media, they become engrained in the audience's memory.
And if you control this process, your organisation can, over time, establish
a positive image and a high degree of recognition.
PR - WITH US!
In order to achieve the goal of communicating information and establishing
a positive image, you should have a strong, professional partner at your
side. The Schaal.Trostner Kommunikation has been successfully active in
the market for over 30 years. One of the reasons for our continued success
is that our press work is undertaken by accomplished journalists and is
therefore accepted and valued by editorial departments. And this, in turn,
results in your messages being publicised in the media and to a situation
where others will some day say, "That company is top-notch!"
